Halloween
I guess it's time we added some pictures from Halloween. Hannah was Dorothy for Halloween and Abby was a Munchkin. I took Hannah and Abby to the Carnival at Carden Memorial School, and Hannah loved seeing all the costumes and playing games. She also loved going trick or treating at Daddy's work. I also loved braiding her hair. I had to slick down the top like I did in ballroom to keep it from looking crazy! We also couldn't resist trying on this Raggedy Ann costume because she loves Raggedy Ann.

Hannah's Birthday Cake
We decided to make a cake ourselves this year for Hannah's birthday. It's hard to believe she is already 2 years old. This is kind of a step-by-step look at our cake making process.
We got a lot of ideas of the web but then created our own design. Inserting the Spires. Kendall and Kendra came early and helped us put the sprinkles on and decorate the spires. It was fun having them help out. We're almost done! Rebecca is just adding some grass (green coconut) around the edge of the castle and building a door and walkway. Our completed Snow White Princess Cake! All seven dwarfs are on here too - located in various places around the castle.
Below are a few more pictures at the party. The last three are some zoomed in pictures to see the figurines. We were really pleased with how it turned out and Hannah loved it so it was all worth it.

Abigail Kate Laws
Sorry we are so slow about updating you. Abigail Kate Laws was born on April 20, 2009 at 10:49am. She weighed 8lbs 8oz and was 19 inches in length (we think she was longer). Below you will find some pictures of her as well as our first family photo at the hospital. We are VERY excited to have Abigail as a beautiful addition to are family. She has grown a lot over the last 6 weeks.
She has very pretty hair! Perhaps a strawberry-blond? If she's anything like her big sister she'll lose it and it will take 18 months to get it back.
Hannah sure loves her little sister, but she wasn't too sure about her at first. Poor Abigail still gets slapped by her every once in a while, but we are trying to teach her how to be gentle. There's only so much you can teach a 20 month old child. Look at their cute little fingers touching.
Our 1st family Photo!
Abigail is a little hidden and Hannah is looking down so I guess it won't be our last family picture. :)

"H"
Hannah learned last week which letter is "h". She'll sometimes point out the h in books we read, most the time it's an h but every once in a while its another letter she's pointing at. Now every time we ask her what letter her name starts with, she says "h", it's pretty cute.
Books
Hannah's favorite thing to do is read books. I don't know how many books we read a day, but she could just sit and read books for hours. She just studies the pictures and points at things. Her most recent favorite is "I Spy Christmas" that she got from my mom for Christmas. The first week we got it, we literally would spend a half hour at a time looking at all the pictures. She will walk around sometimes looking for it saying " I spy, I spy" which sounds more like "I pie, I pie". It's pretty cute. Anyway, she absolutely Loves books.
