Hannah's Birthday Cake

We decided to make a cake ourselves this year for Hannah's birthday. It's hard to believe she is already 2 years old. This is kind of a step-by-step look at our cake making process.

We got a lot of ideas of the web but then created our own design. Inserting the Spires. Kendall and Kendra came early and helped us put the sprinkles on and decorate the spires. It was fun having them help out. We're almost done! Rebecca is just adding some grass (green coconut) around the edge of the castle and building a door and walkway. Our completed Snow White Princess Cake! All seven dwarfs are on here too - located in various places around the castle.

Below are a few more pictures at the party. The last three are some zoomed in pictures to see the figurines. We were really pleased with how it turned out and Hannah loved it so it was all worth it.

Not sure what happened, but a left a comment a few days ago and it's not here. Hmmm. So I'll leave another comment saying how SHOCKED I was to see a new post, after checking everyday since our fun playdate a few months ago. (I know...I'm pathetic. I don't have much to do so I check blogs everyday.) The cake you guys made looks awesome. I can't believe she's two already. We need to get together again soon!

You are creative. We really need to get together. My blog changed slightly, so you may have to change it on your blog.
